Yesterday was Wednesday, that means I had tutor class.
Two kids were out of control as usual.
My patience is facing challenge every time I have their class.
I often asked myself is this English class really going to work out.
Being monkey around was not the first day news. They have been monkey around since I first knew them. My uncle knows exactly how his children behaves, however he does nothing on it. I don’t know if he makes some effort on it. To me there were just the same as before.
I hate teaching relative’s children. Let’s get it straight, their parent is your uncle or aunty, which represents pressure from them are unimaginable. First, I get paid so I have to have the class seriously, though the students don’t take it seriously. Second, I am a rookie tutor. The textbooks I use are all provided from their parents. Sometimes they just give me a lot of story books and said I can use them in the class. I knew they were in good intention but it’s a kind of annoying. Say if I didn’t use the story books wouldn’t the kids go back and say I didn’t use the book?
Why I don’t buy my own textbook? Because I thought I can get rid of this tutor as soon as possible. I don’t want to let them spend money on some books that they’ll never going to pick it up after the class. Out of my expectation, I have been stuck in this tutor for almost seven months. Third, once the student said “My mom said you need to give us homework.” What the heck! Sometimes they even didn’t finish there schoolwork, so only one student showed up in my class. I did give them handouts twice. I don’t like handouts, it cost a lot of time for me to edit one. Besides, I consider asking them to practice writing vocabulary is a bit of meaningless. Moreover, if you want to practice writing you don’t need a tutor. You can learn it by yourself at home and save a great amount of money.
I hope my tutor life can have new progress or simply resign this job. One of the reasons I want to go to Taipei is I can resign officially. My uncle said to me a couple of weeks ago, “Can we just split them into two different classes?” OMG~ tell me this isn't true.

Last night I taught them the English name of “海綿寶寶", which is “Sponge Bob”.
Then they got puzzled with “Bob”.
They kept asking "Is Bob a person?" "Why there is no “baby” in the name of “Sponge Bob”?"
I said “No. Bob is the last name of Sponge. Like your last name is Huang.”
Well~ I think it’s hard for them to understand the rules in translation.
